Arlington man kills wife and sister-in-law; leaving 8 children motherless

ARLINGTON, Texas - Arlington Police said Dalton Bennett entered his estranged wife's house killing her and another family member early Saturday morning. Among the dead were Sheryl Bennett and her sister-in-law, Tana Todd. Todd's husband was also seriously injuried and was admitted into a local hospital.

Family members said the children, ranging from ages 1 to 12 years old, were all in the apartment at the time, but did not witness what happened.

FW gunman shoots two women dead in front of children .

FORT WORTH — A violent domestic disturbance left a South Forth Worth neighborhood in shock Monday afternoon.

According to police, a man went to a residence in the 7600 block of Chance Boulevard around 12:30 and killed Natasha Robertson, his 29-year-old girlfriend. He then turned the gun on her 30-year-old friend Donille Howard, who also died.

The 47-year-old gunman, who was identified as Darren Clemmons, then shot himself dead. And it all happened in front of the victims' four young children.

Miami Dolphin receiver stabbed by wife

Miami Dolphins wide receiver Brandon Marshall was released from a hospital on Saturday after allegedly being stabbed with a knife by his wife.

Michi Nogami-Marshall told a Broward County (Fla.) sheriff who arrested her early Saturday morning that she acted in self-defense, according to the arrest report.

She was charged with aggravated battery with a deadly weapon and domestic violence.

This isn't the first record of domestic trouble between Marshall and his wife. Before they were married, both were arrested on charges of disorderly conduct in March 2009 after the two began "kicking and punching each other on the sidewalk" after an argument, according to an Atlanta police report. The charges were dropped shortly thereafter.
