KEIZER - A man was arrested for murder after police found his wife's body at the couple's home in Oregon.
Peter Zielinski, 39, went to the local police station on January 12 and told officers his wife needed medical attention at their home. When they arrived Lisa Zielinski, 38, was found dead at the scene from a gunshot wound to the brain, according to the state medical examiner.
No information about the motive has been released, but investigators described the incident as Domestic Violence. Peter was arrested and charged with one count of murder and could face additional charges.
Lisa worked in sales for a local radio station and was an active member in her church.

Theodore "Ted" Cornell Lockett, 21 was arrested in Georgia for brutally beating and killing his 92-year-old grandmother Saturday night. Dororthy Lockwood, who was carrying for another bedridden woman in the home, had recently asked Lockett to move after living their for six months. Kimberly Carter, who was shot and killed in Arlington by her ex-boyfriend, Barnes Nettles, was laid to rest January 8 at the Pilgrim Valley Baptist Church in Fort Worth.
She was killed along side Arlington Police Officer Jillian Smith who responded to a domestic violence call at Carter's home. Officer Smith died after Nettles shot and killed her while trying to protect Carter's 11-year-old daughter. Nettles later committed suicide. The daughter escaped unharmed.

East Baton Rouge Parish detectives arrested Girard Smith Friday after he shot his ex-wife in the neck during a domestic altercation.
Smith, 46, has been charged with attempted first-degree murder, aggravated burglary, aggravated battery and simple battery, according to spokeswoman Casey Rayborn Hick with the Sheriff's Office.
According to the police report, Smith kicked in the victim's front door Friday morning and confronted her about a man being at the home. Smith allegedly struck her and the other man on the head with the gun from behind, causing the firearm to discharge.
The victims sustained non-life threatening injuries.
