Ricardo Quintero was convicted earlier of murdering the toddler, Tiffany Wells. According to a medical examiner, the little girl died from blunt trauma to the head.
“This case is another example to child abusers that the ... district attorney’s office and the citizens of Ellis County do not, and will not, tolerate the murder or abuse of innocent children,” said Chief Felony Prosecutor Don Maxfield.
